Hi.
Is there any project combining those who demand heavy computation
power to solve some specific tasks and those who wants to sell their
computer time?

The ProcessTree Network project was going to do this in 2001, but it ended
before it went live. No other project since then has attempted to do
this. The Gomez Peer project will pay for your computer's bandwidth to
test access times for websites. No other project is currently paying
its participants for their computer time or bandwidth.

See a comprehensive list and past and present projects at my website:
http://distributedcomputing.info . This list will show you what
distributed computing models have been tried or are currently being tried.
